Vidyano 3 Public Release

October 18, 2011 at 1:12 PM - Vidyano Team

Last week our team released the third version of Vidyano. With this release we push the envelope in creating modern applications to a new high. The biggest difference between version 3 and previous versions, is that this is the first version of Vidyano which focuses on a complete end-to-end solution for creating applications. It does this by offering an out of the box solid architecture on which you can build your applications, while adding an extensive range of features that typically find their return in almost all data oriented applications.

While the public release had a bit of a delay, it certainly doesn't mean that it is less good than previous versions. On the contrary, there are already a number of success stories which we will gladly share with you in the upcoming weeks. We also wanted to make sure that we covered all the bases when it comes to the cloud. As you know, many of the top tech companies are strongly investing in building the worlds most powerful cloud hosting solutions. With Microsoft's Windows Azure platform being most in line with the Vidyano's architecture, we added a couple of features that take exclusive advantage of this platform.

During the next weeks and months we will also update this blog with lots of information on building applications with Vidyano. We will go into all of our features and we'll demonstrate advanced scenario's that will help you to unleash the full power of Vidyano.

For now I want to leave you with a small video that quickly demonstrates how to get started with Vidyano after installing it from the Visual Studio Gallery here.
